LEGO Friends #41043 Penguin's Playground Review

Here's another review on Friends polybag collectables, this is series 4 of course and the set name clearly tells you what animal you are getting. Yes, penguin and I think is a new animal in Friends theme that I could not recall seeing any before this.

The parts looks pretty usual I do not see any new parts, maybe a little colour are lighter are can hardly find in normal playset other than playset from Friends theme. Is fun to collect animal sometimes, but when there are too many pattern popping up, and you are trying to collect them all, it might turn out to be a disaster (to your wallet).

I believe this are one of  the Friends polybag that comes with a unique animal to be collected. According to the review this is from series 4. Picture below are take from Brickset:

For girls maybe they are into things like this, perhaps this was made to compete with Little Pony or at an affordable price. If you asked me, this is a good collection since they fall in affordable range and comes with some parts and were priced reasonably here in Malaysia at the moment, which is RM20 per pack.

LEGO Friends Series 3 Animal Collectibles

LEGO Friends Animal Collectibles is attractive, especially they falls under affordable range and some of them do comes with nice parts. For those that collect them, here's the images from Grogall's Brickshelf gallery:

Guess the parts are not so great lately. But for those animal lover, any series seems worth collecting since you can have a various kinds of animal living in the Friends world that you have created.

LEGO Friends 2013 Collectables Set

There are more pictures of Friends set showing up today, and it is focusing on the pet from Friends universe. One way to get the pet from Friends theme, but not sure how the price goes.

We that there are two series and might expect more to come after this. If you wanted to see the pictures of the 2013 sets by theme, you can go to Brickset, is easier for viewing as you can change do it by theme.

LEGO Friends 2013 Pictures

The Friends continues with more new set coming your way next year. The theme seems to be very successful with the introduction of new minifigs and the set definitely have some colorful parts that hardly comes with any other playset.

LEGO Friends #3939 Mia's Bedroom Review

I would say this set is pretty useful, especially to fill up your LEGO house. This set gives a pretty good instruction on how to build the drum and what is in the set.

Upcoming LEGO Friends Revealed

Despite so much critics, I believe this theme do sell very well, now even the guys bought it to get the colourful parts that we hardly found in normal playset. I suppose this theme is the most successful girls theme. Anyway, below is a picture taken from Brickset:

LEGO Friends #3065 Olivia's Tree House Review

I suppose this review has been posted in Eurobricks for a couple of days (maybe weeks) now. Just take a look at the review might not hurt anyway.

This one does looks good too and I think so far I got no complaint about the theme yet except the figs but is targeted towards girl so I won't said much. I'm thinking, perhaps we can MOC it ourselves too by using Ewok Attack parts for our minifigs.
