LEGO Ninjago #9553 Jay ZX Review

Here's another review that has been posted up tonight at Bricks Review, Jay ZX booster pack. Image below are taken from Brick Review:

The new ninja really looks good but too bad the theme went bad after the dragon been replaced with vehicle and hated by some collectors.

LEGO Lord of the Rings Minifigures

According to Brickset, the microsite for LEGO LOTR is up and below are two pictures that show us the minifigs:

Seems like there are quite a number of them to be collected. Hopefully we can get all the minifigs easily and looking at the prelim pictures last time, it seems like the set do include us with a handsome amount of minifigs.

LEGO Super Heroes

The another theme we are looking forward which is the Super Heroes from Marvel universe. So far, the news sounds favorable. The Marvel super heroes will be unleash this April according to FBTB.

To read what's in the set and what the set got, you can refer HERE. I think is very useful article, although no pictures available for viewing.

LEGO Lord of the Rings

The London toy fair do show the visitor some of the upcoming sets and unfortunately, no cameras were allowed and what we have is only the picture of the booth itself which I find it pretty interesting too.

Here are a few character from the LEGO LOTR, it sure looks interesting. for opinion about the sets, you can visit Brickset or even FBTB. Both of them written their thoughts about this new theme which is coming this August.

LEGO Star Wars #3866 Battle of Hoth

I'm not a board game fans myself and now LEGO is making their own board game. For those that are into board game perhaps you might want to read something about the new LEGO Star Wars #3866 Battle of Hoth or even give it a try.

3866 Battle Of Hoth

Brickset posted about the board game a few days back and it does include useful picture. The microfigs looks good too though. Above got the linked to the mini review, read it if you are interested with the board game.

Some New Set that Hit Our Shores. . . .

On the other hand here is some local news which is a week old now I suppose. We get some of the latest LEGO Star Wars sets, Ninjago, City and even Minifigures Series 6 released earlier than expected but is quite hard to hunt them yet.

#9488 Elite Clone Trooper & Commando Droid Battle Pack
#9489 Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack
RM79.90 each (yes, there is a fall in the price)

#9490 Droid Escape
#9491 Geonosian Cannon
RM149.90 each (price seems to increase)

#9492 TIE Fighter
RM299.90

#9493 X-wing Starfighter
RM389.90

Planet Series RM49.90 each

On the side note, minifigs series price still remain the same which is RM9.90 each and Ninjago Spinner set too maintain it price at RM34.90. I think is a pretty good news as the price still stay the same after a few release.

LEGO Friends #3932 Andrea's Stage Review

Are you the fans of Friends? Whether you are or not, this set #3932 Andrea's Stage seems good enough to help you construct furniture which I think is useful for City fans who like MOD-ing.

Although it is a little big but I think shrunking the size a little will not be much of a problem and of course, if you think the color makes it looks girlish, just change the parts.

LEGO Star Wars #30056 Star Destroyer Review

Since the planet set are released and it comes with mini model perhaps it might be the start for people to start collecting mini model and Eurobricks got the new mini Star Destroyer review posted:

I'm not a mini model collector but I think they will looks great too if you were to build an army of this minis. I think they will look good in a large number.

LEGO Star Wars #30058 STAP Review

We have heard news about the new promo bag of LEGO Star Wars STAP not long ago and mutley777 has put up a review on this set on Eurobricks.

It seems different from the old one but I'm not sure which category it falls under whether is prequel trilogy or Clone Wars. Nonetheless droid army builder should be very happy about this.

LEGO Architecture #21012 Sydney Opera House

Amazon Japan has revealed the upcoming Architecture set, the Sydney Opera House. The famous landmark of Australia will be the next mini model that the collectors might be looking forward for.

#21012 Sydney Opera House

This is a mini model and I guess we cannot complain much about it since it will not be so small anymore if we are looking for a more detailed model.

LEGO Star Wars #9674 Naboo Starfighter & Naboo Review

Here's another review from mutley777, which is on #9674 Naboo Starfighter & Naboo. It seems like there is some flaw in this set, which is the planet.

Is too bad that the both part of the planet cannot merge properly, hopefully the coming series 2 planet sets will not have this problem. Still, is a great set to build your Naboo pilot army. Review seems useful though as it helps to point out the cons of a set.

Anyway, link to the review is right below the picture.

LEGO Star Wars #9675 Sebulba's Podracer & Tatoonie Review

Here's an alternative way to get your Sebulba without paying a high price for it although the pod racing set looks great too. Today the review of the planet set, #9675 is up at Eurobricks:

Seems to be a nice set as you do not need to pay a hefty amount of money for this rare minifigs of yours and it comes with a nicely printed planet of Tatoonie.

LEGO Exclusive #10244

This year modular house which is rumored as town hall, finally got the pictures surfacing on the internet. I suppose modular collector will want a set of this to complete their collection.

It seems a bit square to me but the door way sure is well down. It looks very detail and relaistic. For more picture, please click HERE.

LEGO Star Wars #9488 Elite Clone Trooper & Commando Droid Battle Pack Review

Same goes for this review which is already aged about a week and we all are looking forward for the new cool ARC Trooper minifig. You can view the ARC Trooper picture at Brickset too as there is a written review on this set.

I do hate it when they include two Commando Droids inside this set although the new head mold of the Commando Droid looks good but will cost you a lot of money to build the clone army. It do seems like the scale of the cannon is out too.

LEGO Star Wars #9489 Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack Review

The new battle pack sure has one long name on it. Anyway this review is posted about a week ago at Eurobricks and Brick Horizon by mutley777.

Is true that few years back people keep speculating that there will be Endor Battle Pack coming and now they are finally released for you to build your army for both faction Rebel and Imperial. I personally thinks the combination is great just that the name is too long.

LEGO Star Wars #9493 X-wing Starfighter Review

Another new version of X-wing released this year and it do make the old one look outdated but I believe #6212 and #9493 have their own good and bad. The picture below is taken from Eurobricks review:

There are new minifigs in this set and this new X-wing do look more solid so I bet people will be after this version too.

Image from Eurobricks.

LEGO Star Wars #9676 TIE Interceptor and Death Star Review

I suppose this is another alternative to get a hand on Imperial Pilot other than advent calendar which is very much of a good deal. The Planet Set is quite suitable for those mini collector and this Interceptor is not a disappointment at all.

Guess the Death Star can be use as ornament to decorate your Christmas tree as well. I suppose the Planet line is asking us to collect (well) the planet and the minifigs.

LEGO Star Wars #9490 Droid Escape Review

It has been for years now since this Droid Escape set is release and finally they are back with a better version of minifigs and of course the chase is on when two new Sand Trooper is added. Picture below are taken from a review in Brick Horizon:

The pictures do show us very much of all what is inside this set. Is definitely a short and informative enough with the picture describing everything in it.

Link to the review is right below the picture.

LEGO Star Wars #9491 Geonosian Cannon Review

I definitely would go for this set to get the minifigs and the Geonosians looks awesome and of course not to forget the new Commander Gree to complete my my clone commander. Picture below is taken from a review by Jammiedodger in Eurobricks:

We get Geonosian Starfighter and Battle for Geonosis last year and this year we get Geonosian Cannon. Although there is not much of a Clone Wars set this year and they are focusing again in Original Trilogy and Prequel Trilogy but I think this set would done just fine.

LEGO Star Wars #9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor Review

I think today I will spam this blog of mine with this year LEGO Star Wars sets reviews. I like reading reviews especially those with pictures and perhaps you guys might like it as well. So I would start with #9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor done by ZoomZoom from Eurobricks:

I think the interceptor is nice but one thing that I still don't get is that is a starfighter too right, why the name different this time round? Anyway I think the interceptor is well done and in addition we get to build those platform and droids to recreate the fight scene.

LEGO Exclusive #8827 Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Review

I missed out some of the great review done at Eurobricks and now catching up with it. WhiteFang done another great review on the Collectable Minifigures and is worth sharing here:

I would say this series is good as well as some of the good minifigs have a lot in number. Probably need to secure a box of these.

LEGO Friends #3315 Olivia's House Review

I've been spamming my blog with Friends theme today and this will be the last post for the Friends today. Below is a picture taken from Pandora's review:

Guess that's all about Friends today. Link to the review is right below the picture.

LEGO Friends #3065 Olivia's Tree House Review

I suppose this review has been posted in Eurobricks for a couple of days (maybe weeks) now. Just take a look at the review might not hurt anyway.

This one does looks good too and I think so far I got no complaint about the theme yet except the figs but is targeted towards girl so I won't said much. I'm thinking, perhaps we can MOC it ourselves too by using Ewok Attack parts for our minifigs.

LEGO Friends #3188 Heartlake Vet Review

I think the Friends theme do attract male audience (which I think they are after the parts) as well other than the female audience. Picture below was taken from SilentMode's review at Eurobricks:

Seems like the window parts is very useful for modular MOC, also the new accessories. I like the new flower parts too and you can find butterfly and ladybug in it too.

LEGO Friends #3061 City Pack Cafe Review

Happy New Year! This seems to be the first post of the year.

The review for the 2012 sets is starting at Eurobricks and the Friends theme is good after all in providing parts for MOC. Anyway, below is the picture taken from Hinckley's review at Eurobricks:

The parts seem good although is a bit colorful but we hardly see these color in normal playset plus we get new accessories in this theme.
