LEGO Star Wars #9515 The Malevolence Review

Here's a very old post posted August, but I just come to know about it, so am posting it here so that it is viewable to people when they are about to buy the set. LEGO Star Wars #9515 The Malevolence review is brought to you by starstreak:

Cover Page

There's a lot of pieces in this set and suitable for those that want to have more parts. The minifigs however in my opinion is not much of  good one. But we have the new commander droid, General Grievous, Padme and Count Dooku. That is the few which I think is cool.

LEGO Star Wars #10227 B-wing Starfighter Review

I myself is not a fans to UCS set due to financial limitations and I'm more into the minifigs. For those Star Wars fans from the early days, this fighter here might be one of your favorite and to those that loves details, this is one of the set that you need to buy.

10227 B-wing Starfighter Review - 1

LEGO Ninjago #9555 Mezmo Review

This wave there are two minifigs from the booster pack set that does not comes in normal playset and one of them is Mezmo. I think LEGO should take care of the quality of these minifigs since you cannot get them in playset. Anyway, a reviews has been posted on Bricks Review:

Perhaps you guys might want to buy one of this? Nice packaging and I would say good price.

LEGO Ninjago #9557 Lizaru Review

I heard rumors that the Ninjago Booster pack have reach the retail stores of Malaysia, since I'm in Penang, I still have not seen it elsewhere, but do spot them in LEGOland Malaysia. Picture below is taken from Bricks Review:

IMG_6362

I would say is a good strategy to have some booster pack and spinner so that people can afford the rare minifigs from some set. But but but, the price need to be priced properly, otherwise people will still ignore this packet of minifigs. Too bad, only Ninjago have them and maybe Legends of Chima in the future.

LEGO Ninjago #9574 Lloyd ZX Review

Finally the long awaited green ninja, Lloyd ZX spinner has been released here in the local. Now that the fans can complete their ZX collection without having a hole in their wallet with the release of the spinner. I owned one, and the quality is good even though there are parts that are made in China.

IMG_6315

Cool minifigs, this one I would say is a must have, otherwise you definitely have to buy the biggest of the second wave to complete your ZX collection. The new spinner are great and of course, the crown and packaging too play a little role to make me buy them.

LEGO Ninjago #9590 NRG Zane Review

This is something that is quite new to the local since it has only been released not long ago, maybe less than a month or a month ago. This is some collectibles too since they comes in different design of spinners and character. Below picture of NRG Zane is taken from Bricks Review:

IMG_6334

Looking at the NRG minifig, they have unique prints, shiny prints and this one looks good. This theme become my favorite with the second release with the serpentine vehicle, is something worth buying to explore the building experience. But not the spinner set.

LEGO Star Wars #9497 Republic Striker-class Starfighter Review

New review is up today on Bricks Review. Although many already made a review on this set, but is not hurt to go and view the same review if you are still in the planning stage to buy the set.

IMG_1219

I as a minifigs collector now too are into the minifigs that comes with this set, except the brick-built astromech droid. The ship looks uglier when it is in attack mode.

LEGO MOC Train Station

Ever think of making a cool train station with a classic look for your city? Guess what, I found this cool station from a Japanese blog, LEGO-KEI (is on my right navigator). Looking at the detail, it pretty much suites the city where you have all the modular house since it looks very detailed and the thing is big enough to have a train stop inside.

Unfortunately, there are not much pictures of this station is being posted, and clicking into the link inside the post do not help much either as I do no read Japanese. So I just manage to save a few pictures from LEGO-KEI blog. Looks good right?

LEGO Ninjago Character Encyclopedia

The figure that comes with Ninjago Character Encyclopedia would be the Green ninja with different outfit. Very tempting. . .

Every image content on the product details page seems to be one useful content that can further generate income. Anyhow, still if the book is nice, people will get it and that includes me.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 8 Review

The new minifigures series is released not long ago, and we are very curious before the release on which is the Rare and which is the common one. I think now we get quite a good number of figure for army bulding minifigs already.

This series seems to have some repeated minifigs, like Robot and Cheerleader. Other than that we do get figures from set, just in different color and maybe prints like Manbat and Alien Villainess. A very useful review, and I like reading it.

LEGO Architecture #21014 Villa Savoye Review

I'm not into this Architecture theme myself since they are very pricey and most of the parts are small parts. Although they are small, it really looks good. Below is a picture taken from Eurboricks:

For those that collect this theme, just click on the link below the image to read the review. There are real pictures use to compare with this model, then you can see how accurate they are.
