LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean #4194 Whitecap Bay Review

So here's another review of LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean which is #4194 Whitecap Bay and again you need a site to translate them for you. The sets simply looks good and below are the picture taken from the review:

It seems like the mermaid are evil as they have two expression which one side of them is quite evil and scary. Anyway, to read the review, please click on this link. Guess I can't miss this theme and pray hard to get a reasonable price over here.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean #4182 The Cannibal Escape Review

VerSen put up another review of LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, which is #4182 The Cannibal Escape however, again, the review is in Russian. Below is a picture taken from VerSen's review:

I think LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean will made a good sales when they release. All of them just looks great and of course the pirates fans will not miss this theme and perhaps this theme can blend pretty well with the other pirates theme for kids.

Here's the link to the review.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean #4181 Isla De Muerta Review

VerSen, a member of a LEGO community have comes up with a review for LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean #4181 Isla De Muerta which I think is the first review made so far. Below are pictures taken from the community:

As you can see from the picture on top, the different kind of Captain Jack Sparrow is only base on the different face expression that he has. On the other hand, the instruction are packed separately in a polybag and the gold bar somehow is not gold chrome like what's is shown in the box art which is a let down.

To read the review (hopefully you know a site which can translate them), please visit HERE.

LEGO Star Wars #66378 Super Pack

TLG again come up with new super pack, which include #8085 Freeco Speeder, #7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack and #7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack. Picture is as below:

We get 10 minifigures in this set which I think some previous super pack have more minifigs but all is according to which set that they are bundle with. Hope this super pack save people some money as I heard some are more expensive when bundle up so I'm not sure whether they are more expensive or cheaper.

LEGO Star Wars #7877 Picture

Another new picture from LEGO Star Wars Universe which is #7877 Naboo Fighter (not sure if that's the name that are confirmed). Anyway, saw this picture on Brickset and I post it here:

From the picture we get 5 minifig (not including Droideka) but there is another version of Droideka which looks cool as well. So they have release this set for three times I suppose and the second one comes with a brown Vulture Droid.

LEGO Minifigures Series 5 Picture

This is what I found this morning when looking through Brickshelf and I found a clear picture of LEGO Minifigures Series 5 which I think it looks promising too. Below is the picture taken from Brickshelf:

I think the picture is snap from some exhibition as behind this picture seems like a real box. However, we do get another snow boarder (just different gender), eskimo (with a fishing rod which makes it another fisheman) and another detective with the magnifying glass. Some do looks great and new while some are just normal.

LEGO Hero Factory 3.0 Pictures

Found some news on Brickset, whereby a German Toy Shop, Mikado got these new Hero Factory pictures uploaded although there are only six of them for now. Below are pictures taken from the site:

I do like the way they incorporated the animal with the here especially the mask, but there are a few mask which looks a bout the same and I can't differentiate which animal are they. But the new mask do looks better than ver. 2.0 whereby most of them looks nerdy. =P

LEGO Star Wars Troop Carrier MOC

I just saw this cool MOC from obcurance's Flickr photostream and it just looks great especially the way this carrier deploy the Battle Droid. Below, a picture taken from the photostream:

Maybe TLG should learn some tricks from these peoples. How I wish there are instructions for these. Also, this guy have good MOC for Halo (which again is too bad as M***B*** got the license). So for more great creation please visit HERE.

LEGO Harry Potter #4737 Quidditch Match Review

Bricks Review got LEGO Harry Potter #4737 Quidditch Match review up on the blog now. It is quite a simple and short review but what is written there really are sufficient for a set like that. Below is a picture taken from Bricks Review:

If you are a minifigures collector, then you have to get this set if not you can just skip this set as I found that there is not much of a playability in there. However, starting from Hagrid's Hut, the sets start to get better with more playability and a very detail interior.

Brickset Minifigures Gallery

It all started this year that Brickset start to snap pictures of minifigs from different theme and uploaded them in Brickset. At first, I don't feel like blogging about Brickset Minifigures Gallery as I assume frequent visitor will know about it but as they continue to upload all the nice pictures of the minifigures, I just can't resist myself posting a news about the minifigures gallery.

Robot from Minifigures Series 1

So far they got more than 16 different kinds of theme uploaded and I'm looking forward for more from them as the pictures are just wonderful. Above picture are the latest one of the latest pictures that are uploaded at Brickset although pictures from Minifigures Series 3 is up a day or two before this one.

I've added the link to the minifigures gallery at the side bar and for quick link just click HERE.

LEGO Minifigures Series 4 Review

I think the review has been up there in Eurobricks for a few days and I'm quite late to post it. Anyway, we are curious which will minifigs will be the fisherman. Anyway, is great to know those with the highest quantity are not of a bad minifig at all. Below is a picture taken from Eurobricks:

I'm quite pleased to a few new accessories and headgear which is are very nice instead of same old thing that has been release in normal sets or previous minifig series. At least there are something new over here.

Just in case you guys want to have a look back at the review of previous minifigs collection, here's the link: Series 1/ Series 2/ Series 3.

Link to the review is below the image.

LEGO Castle #852132 Castle Tic Tac Toe Review

Bricks Review got a new review posted today and it turn out to be some board game which is quite old since it is release on year 2007. Anyway, it seems to be a nice set to get your knights with cool weapons:

For those that starts early, it sure is a good thing you buy this set locally as it is cheaper compare to our neighboring country, Singapore which after the currency conversion it cost RM100 and above.

The link to the review is right below the picture above.

LEGO Star Wars #8096 Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle Review

In order not for us to wait too long, Bricks Review posted a review on #8096 Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle. Of course one of the reason is not for us to wait too long while the other is to review it while it is still hot although I think it is quite outdated, but doing review has become her passion.

The shuttle do looks good so do the review although quite a number of pictures are shrinking in size. I suppose it depends on the size of our monitor to cut down the scrolling.

The link is right under the picture. Guess there are quite a number of Star Wars review been posted up there lately. Thanks to me too. Hehe

LEGO Star Wars #7915 Imperial V-wing Starfighter Review

I've made another review on LEGO Star Wars #7915 Imperial V-wing Starfighter at Bricks Review. Guess I'll have to stop making review already since I'm broke and not able to get more new set for review but I'm sure she has some old Star Wars set for review later since she got all the pictures ready except the time.

I would say this set give a nice minifigs and nice starfighter but there are still a few weaknesses on the starfighter itself that you can further improve it.

LEGO Star Wars #7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack Review

The title says it all. I posted another review on Bricks Review this morning, so be sure to drop by if you are interested to read it although is quite outdated at other places and before it get more outdated (because my friend still have not got it) I better post it up quick.

After so many picture taken I manage to drop off all the blur ones and put up all the best pictures that I've taken. Hope you guys like the review I made.

LEGO Space Microsite

The fun thing with the new space microsite is that there is this astronaut flying around from left to right or right to left. There are also some fact given on the site and a video which are somehow related to this space theme but is not LEGO.

Above picture shows how is the site looks like. There are a small NASA logo on top too.

LEGO Minifigures Site Updated

I'm very much looking forward for LEGO Minifigures Series 4 and of course the microsite has been updated with the series 4 minifigs. Also I just happen to get a hold of customer catalogs yesterday and they seem to included the picture of LEGO Minifigures Series 4 but so far they have not been release yet.

The minifigures series sure get better again with some new attractive parts which makes them unique just like when we get minifigures series 1.

Here's the link.I think they are still working on the update, I found some character gone from the main page and I suppose they will release them one by one again.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean Microsite Running!

The new theme of the year which is Pirates of the Caribbean got its microsite up. Although it is a bit like the Harry Potter microsite, but this one adds some description about the character and a larger image of the character on the left which makes it looks better. I suppose we have to wait they release the other character slowly.

Just know it when I surf Brickset this morning and I get a caption of the site. Hope there will not be any problem posting the picture of the site here.

Here's the link.
