LEGO The Hobbit #790004 Barrel Escape Mini Review

New sets starting to appear on the shelf and the lucky ones are able to snap them up right before Christmas and right before anyone from the other part of the world. Brickset have a made a review on #790004 Barrel Escape:

79004 Barrel Escape

79004 Barrel Escape

The set do comes with a few weapons and five minifigs, which is a lot I think. Though the set not that big or large but it definitely looks neat. LOTR fans definitely have to own them all, at least the minifigs.

LEGO Collectables Minifigures Series 9 Teaser

A few pictures leaked and shown to us especially the guy in chicken suit and the space orge but we have no idea what are the other 13 minifigs that are coming our way. However, on Monday LEGO release the pictures of the minifigs that are shot from their back on Facebook.

The above image summarize the figures that we are getting from Series 9 and hell yes quite a number of cool characters. You can drop by HERE to see their individual picture.

LEGO City #60009 Helicopter Arrest Picture

I do not recall I see the picture of this set before until few days ago I saw it on Eurobricks. Below is the picture of #60009 Helicopter Arrest taken via Eurobricks:

#60009 Helicopter Arrest

Though the hideout seems simple but I think that it looks interesting. We have a five minifigs and a dog which is the pros of the set and we do have those big chunk of parts that made the helicopter and the boat. Though City is back to fire fighter and police but I think the it is something that we can look forward to collect too.

Thanks to Grogall for the hi-res pics, you guys can found them in Brickshelf.

LEGO Star Wars #75014 Battle of Hoth Pictures

Finally something new and fresh to be view again. Here's a picture found via Hoth Bricks but I think original source is from Russian website. Anyway thanks to Hoth Bricks we get to see the picture:

Another Snowspeeder (not sure how many version has been released buy LEGO) with a quite a number of minifigs. So whoever that started to collect Hoth Echo Base and still keep it up to date and continue with all the Hoth set, he probably able to see the previous Snowspeeder.

More LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures

LEGO Star Wars 2013 is no longer a surprise for us as we have already seen most of the wave 1 set (who knows there are some exclusive that are not reveal). Anyway, the two pictures below is found via Hoth Bricks:

The AT-RT is oversize again but this is the only way to add as much details into ti as possible. It looks as cool as before and maybe cooler compare to the Clone Walker that is released back in 2005. On the other hand, we finally get a new kind of pilot, but hopefully more variation to come, and Pong Krell seems not too tall which  the size is just right. But he sure have a long torso.

LEGO Galaxy Squad Playset Pictures

Finally a person bought a set from the new Galaxy Squad theme and at the back of the instruction book, the playset for this theme finally revealed. Below is a picture taken from Cupishalfempty's photostream:

Not all seems nice, but the two bugs machine really resemble the bugs themselves. The two set, #70704 and #70705 really caught my attention. Looks pretty cool at the moment as the human faction machines able to change mode while the the bug faction have the new pod. Interesting theme.

Should have left one more set that are not reveal yet.

LEGO Lord of the Rings #9470 Shelob Attacks Review

Here's another review that is been posted yesterday in Bricks Review, and though the set been released quite sometimes ago but it might still be useful for those that are waiting for grate deals on the set. Picture below is taken from the review:

IMG_6237

Gollum used to be only appear in this very set, but now it seems like he is appearing in the smallest set of The Hobbit. But this is the still the only set to get Samwise Gamgee and to have additional two rings are really a bonus since it is quite pricey in the market.

LEGO Lord of the Rings #9469 Gandalf Arrives Review

Mostly collectors will just get all the set from one theme and completes them and such a small set should not be miss since it is the most affordable set. Anyway, for those that would like to read the review.

LEGO Galaxy Squad

Galaxy Squad the new space theme next year finally revealed two of the sets. Well, I suppose the pictures are taken somewhere in the United States, since there is a part counts printed on the box. Anyway, I found this two pictures from a Korean community, BrickInside:

I like they way the design the vehicle and we have new trans-neon parts. Looking at the two pictures, the vehicles seems pretty cool. There seems to be a new minifigs too, which I suspect is robot or cyborg but one strange thing, if the human are in orange and white, why is there a blue cyborg there. Looking forward to look at all the playset though.

LEGO Creator #10233 Horizon Express Review

For train fans, a new train from Creator is coming and there is  review made on Eurobricks by mostlytechnic. Picture below are taken from the review:

The set seems  to have some printed parts. No train fans that are willing to miss this train I think although no power function included but upgradable.

LEGO The Hobbit #30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard Polybag

Something new surface again, and according to Brickset, this minifig do not appear in any of The Hobbit playset (yet). I think this will cost you something in the aftermarket for sure.

#30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard

Anyone think of army building again? Might be a good chance to grab your army. A good set that I would not want to miss if I have a chance to grab hold of it at a reasonable price.

LEGO Exclusive #3300014

This is one cool exclusive Christmas set that comes with four minifigs. Anyway, this is something rare I suppose and those in other part of the world can only source from other country.

#3300014

A great set to owned doesn't it. I suppose this set can blend into your Christmas collection set very well, those bakery, toy shop and post office. Would be great to able owned them all.

LEGO Galaxy Squad 2013 Minifigs

A new space theme is coming next year, and they are back to the insect space theme. The two below minifigs are from the upcoming Galaxy Squad theme:

All on all I still think the old Insectoid looks better, though I like the red minifigs from the new theme and below is the list of set that are coming from this theme.

#70700 Space Swarmer
#70701 Swarm Interceptor
#70702 Warp Stinger
#70703 Space Mantis
#70704 Vermin Vaporizer
#70705 Bug Obliviator
#30230 Galaxy Walker

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pong Krell Minifigs

Another new Jedi minifigs coming next year, but this one is quite of an evil one. Anyway, below is the picture of Pong Krell that I found via FBTB:

Pong Krell - 1

Seems like the head is not movable and he sure have a long torso and we need to buy extra lightsaber for his use, since the set comes with only 2 saber.

Image via FBTB.

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures

We get a clearer pictures of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars set now. Definitely is a good start for Clone Wars fans but not the Original Trilogy fans which have only two sets at the moment.

75001 Republic Troopers vs. Sith Troopers - 1 75000 Clone Troopers vs. Droidekas - 1

75002 AT-RT - 1 75012 BARC Speeder with Sidecar - 1

75004 Z-95 Headhunter - 1 75013 Umbaran MHC (Mobile Heavy Cannon) - 1

75003 A-wing Starfighter - 1 75005 Rancor Pit - 1

A lot of new minifigs again and lately I hardly see a same minifigs been release again and again which is hard for army builders. I think they can forget about re-releasing the main character in the near future but not those character that are use for army building.

LEGO Star Wars Republic Trooper Picture

Here's some interesting find from Hoth Bricks, the picture Republic Trooper that comes in the battle pack next year.

Now that we have a good look at the minifig, I think that the look awesome. Nice torso but the helmet is a little disappointing.

Image from Hoth Bricks.

LEGO the Hobbit Minifigs

Well actually both of the pictures below is taken from the review that I blog about a few minutes ago. This might be a useful checklist for you to track your minifigs collection.

The two pictures above looks very interesting and the theme itself have this much minifigs to be collected. Since Gandalf is the same, Gollum might be the same too. But still there are so many to collect.

More LEGO TMNT Images

More TMNT pictures surfaced yesterday and I think that is pretty much about this theme at the moment. Below image is taken from Brickset:

#79100 Kraang Lab Escape

The playset comes with minimum of three minifigs at the moment. I can see that Leonardo will be the most expensive among all the turtles.
