LEGO Pirates released!

Looks like LEGO Pirates is not really a 2009 theme anymore or maybe it was released early as an exclusive item. Sources say it was found at Imagination Center at Disney World. IT is true as there are pictures as a proof to show that they were released. Attach below are the pictures of them:

It seems like the minifigs are printed on both side, front and back, great job LEGO. Also the cannon are made of metallic kind of piece. It looks a little shiny though.

LEGO Castle minifig

There sure will be a Castle line in 2009, but what are the sets is still remain unknown while all we know are there will be a new female troll necromancer or troll queen and this human queen. Somehow I manage to find the queen pictures from other forum. Below are the pictures of the queen:

From the pictures above LEGO is doing a great job. Well done LEGO! The torso of the queen is printed double-sided and we get a new hair piece too. Other than that we got a new face impression from a female minifig which is the angry impression. Again this is something new since the fear impression are too common already.

LEGO Technic 2009

Below are the pictures of the box art of 2009 LEGO Technic. Some sets seems to be so nice especially the quad bike. Here you go:

While we are busy seeing these pictures, some people has already start building them by themselves, I saw somebody has manage to assemble the yellow digger and the red car themselves by using pictures from LEGOWorld 08.

Browse Brickshelf, I didn't save the pictures as I am not into LEGO Technic. I saw that pictures a month or half month back.

LEGO Star Wars 2009 Rumors

Before the January LEGO Star Wars is release, there are already some news or maybe rumors even speculation done on the August LEGO Star Wars set. The rumors might be true and I hope that it is true too as it was a list of great set. Below are the list of 2009 LEGO Star Wars set:

7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid™
7749 Echo Base™
8038 Endor Battle Playset
8037 Y-Wing (Clone Wars version)
8039 Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser™

Some say the list has been confirm but some doubt that it will come true. A Venator Class seems promising as LEGO has manage to build a Star Destroyer before and after long time of waiting the Endor set is making a come back. Guess this will be the chance where I get my hand on those Scout Trooper.

For the Clone Wars version of Y-Wing you guys can see them in the new Star Wars Clone Wars series, I suppose it is shown in episode 3.

Sorry though, as there are no pictures to confirm this yet.

Farm Subtheme

Next year will have a lot of new pieces including a cow. The farm theme is something we never see before and now LEGO is making them. The vehicle looks not bad but I wonder how will the price be. Guess the price will not be attractive, after all, it is LEGO.

Below are the pictures of the farm set releasing in 2009:

It seems to be made out of big chunk of bricks, but I think it still will be a must-have set for the CITY builder or fans. Let's wait and see of how the set above is priced when it is release in near future.

CITY 2009

LEGO CITY theme in 2009 will focus on construction and farm as subtheme. Besides that, there will be a minifigs pack for as well. Below are the pictures of the minifigs pack:

This set is actually not bad as it include some sign boards in it for you to complete your own CITY. Other than that, there are also other accessories included. Thumbs up for LEGO and pary for the price to be reasonable. =P

For the construction sub-theme the vehicle is definitely looks better than the previous release and the set looks big. Below are the pictures of them:

Looks like there are a lot of improvement made to these construction vehicle, LEGO now also include us some unfinished building with the set. This is another new idea from LEGO to charge us more but it is good idea as it the vehicle have their purpose now instead of you displaying them together without any building in progress.
