LEGO #71008 Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Review

Finally we get to see a pictorial review on upcoming LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13. Below picture is taken from WhiteFang's review in Eurobricks:

Looking at the distribution is a bit sad. I was thinking to have more Unicorn Girl, Hot Dog Man, Samurai and Fencer but they are only three in a box. I have a feeling that these minifigures will cost a lot in the after market. I think we should have less Sheriff, Alien Trooper, Goblin and Carpenter. I found most of the minifigures here are interesting is just that sometimes the distribution is not right.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Revealed

I have not completed my Series 12 minifigures yet and here it comes, the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 is being announce. Personally I found most of the minifigures are interesting however there are some friends of mine that said otherwise. Picture below is taken from LEGO Facebook:

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13

Here's the list of the minifigures:
- Unicorn Girl
- Hot Dog Man
- Paleontologist
- Snake Charmer
- Galaxy Trooper
- Sheriff
- Samurai
- Lady Cyclops
- Classic King
- Goblin
- Fencer
- Evil Wizard
- Egyptian Warrior
- Disco Diva
- Carpenter
- Alien Trooper

There are a few that I dislike but I hope they put the right minifigures with the right amount and put those most hated one with the least number in a box. Otherwise the favourite minifigures will hit a all time high price while the umpopular stays low as they meant to be.

LEGO #71007 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Review

Seems like I got wrong when I'm assuming LEGO Movie Collectable Minifigures was Series 12 but it is themed Collectable Minifigures instead. Now with the release of #71007 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 everyone is hype again and below is a picture taken from Eurobricks review:

Good news is there are 3 complete set and there are some really interesting minifigures (which I personally think) that only comes with 3 in a set. Spooky girl is pretty much a popular minifigure here so do Piggy Guy. Each of the minifigure were sold at MYR14.90 RRP and reseller is selling a complete set at MYR220 which in fact is cheaper and you get to save if you were to buy from reseller instead of retail shop.

LEGO Exclusive #40085

I guess this news pop up a couple of days ago, it seems like we have a brick-buiilt teddy bear with heart coming to us soon enough. Definitely is a great gift for Valentine's Day.

I think it looks good, not sure about how the targeted market feel when they see this. But one thing for sure this is nothing soft but rather a hard one.

LEGO Exclusive #71002 Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Review

I'm as much looking forward for the release of the upcoming series 11 just like many other fans out there. Anyway, below is the picture of the series 11 minifigs distribution that you are going to get from a box.

Scarecrow and Island Warrior should be a hit among the fans this round since both of them do have something that is attractive, or maybe unique and they are small in quantity, as for the rest of them, they are pretty much unique as well just that they come in a little large quantity.

More LEGO SDCC Exclusive

The four LEGO Super Heroes minifigs has been handed out in a more different manner compare to the previous year or so I heard and it seems like is harder to get nowadays, I wonder what the price will be after this. So only the rich and willing (and focus) fans will manage to get them. Below is the picture minifigs taken from Brickset:

They looks nicer with the packaging background and it ain't cheap I believe. These are something you cannot buy with money but depends on your luck. While the two picture below here is almost the same as well, but is a good move to prevent disappointed fans and scalper from making squeezing the juice outta the fans.

I do not think the minifigs are exclusive, but instead the mini brick build model is. Completest will be trapped by both of this set I suppose.

LEGO Cuusoo #21103 The DeLorean Time Machine Review

I do see there are a number of people are waiting to get their hands on this set. I do see a brochure that it will be released on 18th July but it seems like official launch date is 1st Aug, which is 2 more weeks away. Below image is taken from a review posted by Brickset:

21103 Cuusoo Back To The Future DeLorean

Some audience do critics that the design has been altered to worse by the designer but still, I feel like there are still a lot of people looking forward to grab the set. Additionally, this Cuusoo set is like a LEGO Creator where you can built three version of DeLorean Time Machine. I think this is one good advantage and people might end up buying 3 sets for this set.

LEGO Exclusive #71002 Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Revealed

Here's a pretty much old news, due to the busy schedule I have nowadays and I do not get to update my blog more frequently. Anyway, Poland have the latest minifgures series release and below are the minifigs that are in series 11:

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11
#71002 Collectable Minifigures Series 11

Definitely all of the minifigs are new, but some character are just the opposite version of the minifigs released in other series before which is sad. There are some really new one, and they are attractive. All in all I think these minifigs are great.

LEGO DC Super Heroes Jor-El Review

There are a lot of Super Heroes fans out there too just like fans for Star Wars. To those that happens to be the fans for both, you seems to have a lot of polybag to collect. Below is a picture of Jor-El minifigs taken from Bricks Review's review:

SH_0148

I'm attracted to the plastic as long as they are in the shape of a figure and very unfortunate for me I collect anything that I think is nice which indirectly makes me the fans of both Super Heroes and Star Wars theme. I just cannot resist the temptation of the minifigs. If you have Superman minifigs, I mean Man of Steel, I think you will definitely want a piece of this since you can reunite both the father and his son.

LEGO CUUSOO Back to the Future

And I thought that CUUSOO will are not going to release this Back to the Future car when they announced Mars Curiosity Rover as the next CUUSOO set coming this falls. Picture below are taken from FBTB.net:

Little details are given and it is said to be able to purchase starting from 18th July. No sign of minifigs as well.  Let's see when it is officially release, although the driver seat and passenger seat seems to be very small.

LEGO has officially announce the new landmark, #10234 Sydney Opera House that now falls under Creator line. So far all the landmark price shot up after they were discontinued, and I believe the London Bridge now has ceased production.

LEGO #40057 Fall Scene

Now that we have summer scene (IMO it was the most expensive) and spring scene (which was the most worth it at the moment), next one coming are pretty much Fall Scene. Below is the picture taken from Brickset:

Comes with three minifigs, and a lot of small tooth like pieces in various colour that symbolize the fall scene. I skip summer scene since it is not that worth getting while the springtime scene was the most favorable set at the time being.

LEGO Exclusive Toy Soldier Minifigs

Saw this new update on Brickset just now while I'm updating myself with news that are happening around in this week. It seems like the Minifigures Character Encylopedia has been released and I'm sure it will not hit our shore that early. unless you placed order through Amazon. Below here is a great photo that has been taken by the Brickset team:

Toy Soldier from DK Minifigures book Toy Soldier from DK Minifigures book

Now I'm in dilemma whether to get a copy of this Minifigures Character Encylopedia or otherwise, it seems like they purposely make you feel incomplete without this minifigs added into your minifigures series collection since it comes from the encyclopedia. But these tiny little men and women are a premium over here in Malaysia. Honestly, this toy soldier looks good.

So far I only heard of Summer Scene and Springtime Scene, I wonder if TLG is trying to release all the 4 seasons in LEGO version. Cannot wait to see the other two scene if they are ever making them. Anyway, below is a picture taken from Brickset's review on the summer scene:

40054 Summer Scene

For Malaysian, if you happen to go down to LEGOland which is located in Johor, you can try hunt for this set. I think people saw them and it is selling at 40MYR, that if is you are interested to get this. There are also Springtime Scene available there at the same price.

LEGO Minifigures Series 10 Released

No idea how they manage to get Collectable Minifigure Series 10 in Hungary but they sure come at us fast. I have not even completed my Series 8 and Series 9 minifigure collection but now here comes the 10.

LEGO 71001 LEGO 71001

The above image was from kockamania's Flickr photostream. Currently I find that the minifigs are not as interesting as Series 9, but time will tells. I might just like a number of them when they are officially release just like Series 9.
