LEGO The Lone Ranger #79108 Stagecoach Escape Review

Here's another review put up today by Brickset, which we all do not want to miss since it is a very good source to get the feedback about the set before we decided or prioritize which set to go first. Picture below is taken from Brickset:

79108 Everything !

Again, my focus is on the minifigs and Red Harrington is an awesome figs, while the other bad guy is a little normal, nothing much new since we have bandit in Series 6. The stagecoach looks nice too and this set might be one of  the set that will sell wells too, just my speculation.

LEGO The Lone Ranger #79109 Colby City Showdown Review

This is the latest review from Brickset on LEGO The Lone Ranger,  #79109 Colby City Showdown which is posted a few days ago. Now that this is the theme is reviving the western them, I hope the fans would like them as much as the previous western theme.

79109 Colby City Showdown

The building is more like a screening set to me (only decorated on the front while the back is empty) but usually they are very useful to get good pictures, if you enjoy photo shooting your toys. The playability seems fine and it comes with a number of them. This set leaves you pretty much space to improves on it as well, if you were to make fully covered at the back as well.

LEGO The Lone Ranger #79110 Silver Mine Shootout Review

Brickset is putting up a lot of review on The Lone Ranger theme. Here's one of the review that is being separated in two parts, where one of it are for the minifigs and the other one for the mine. Picture below taken from Brickset:

79110 Silver Mine Shootout

I feel like getting one of this set after reading the review. The set comes with good minifigs and a good construction experience, after looking at the completed silver mine. The set also comes with several playability which makes it even more worth buying and meeting kids demand.

LEGO Lone Ranger #79107 Comanche Camp Review

I have a few of dream western set that I was not able to own back then and one of the set are the red indian campa that was released back then. However, I believe this is the time for me to own a set although I think previously the teepee is made from cloth while now are made from plastic. Below is a picture taken from Brickset review:

79107 Lone Ranger Comanche Camp

Well Is good to see the lone gone and out of production back in LEGO and also the camp that was once upon a time in my wishlist. The new headgear looks pretty neat too, and we have a new crow piece. This is one interesting set to be owned and the camp is all that attracts me right now.

LEGO Lone Ranger #79106 Cavalry Builder Set Review

The new theme is coming in April while the movie I think is somewhere later this year. Anyway, Brickset manage to get the set early to made review, and below are the picture taken from the review:

79106 Lone Ranger Cavalry Builder Set

A battle pack to build your army seems very useful. Not only you have four minifigs but it do comes with a horse too. The set seems not to come with much pieces, but they pretty much made up with all the minifigs that provided in this set plus the accessories. On a side note, for those looking for cannon to fit inside your Black Pearl or Queen Anne Revenge, now is the time.

LEGO The Lone Ranger - April

If you ask me about Western playset, I have no idea at all. I do get a set before this as a prize of winning competition back when I was a child but I just do not know about the value of this theme until recently. Yeap, I'm that dumb. Somehow the western theme rest for a long time until recently it came back with a licensed theme of the upcoming movie The Lone Ranger.

79106 Cavalry Builder Set 1
$12.99 USD
69 pieces

79107 Comanche Camp 1
$19.99 USD
161 pieces

79108 Stagecoach Escape 1
$29.99 USD
279 pieces

79109 Colby City Showdown 1
$49.99 USD
587 pieces

79110 Silver Mine Shootout 1
$69.99 USD
644 pieces

79111 Constitution Train Chase 1
$99.99 USD
699 pieces

If you would have ask me how this theme does. I would say most of the set are great and maybe all of them are great is just a matter of budget that you have to spend on each and every theme. Honestly speaking, I think most of the theme are doing great this round, except TMNT which they have ugly vehicle. I just have to resist all of these sets, they are just so awesome!

LEGO Lone Ranger Images

Today is a Chinese New Year, so Happy Chinese New Year to my reader, especially those that are celebrating it. Back to the news, two sets of LEGO Lone Ranger is finally revealed, and below are the pictures of the two sets:

#79108 Stagecoach Escape

#79111 Constitution Train Chase

I like the look of both set. I believe both are good playset that collector might not want to miss. The question is whether this theme will drive success of will flop like LEGO Prince of Persia since the two main character all looks the same to me in every set. But it sure have some interesting new character in it.
