LEGO Star Wars minifigs

Here's LEGO Star Wars minifigs up to date. All I can say is there are various kind of minifigs with different color flesh tone.

Above are the pictures taken from LEGOWorld 2008 and look at the minifigs, there are so many kinds of Star Wars minifigs been release within this 9 years, from yellow flesh tone to peach flesh tone.

I miss so many minifig~ #-_-#

LEGO Castle Advent Calendar

Here's some shot of the box art:
The front:
The front actually can open, that,s there you poke hole to get the content out. The box itself is made of a soft cardboard like all the small sets, but it was printed both side, inside was printed too.

The back:
The box are good as you no need to poke hole to open it, it was like other ordinary box open and close and it was seal with stickers only. There are no instruction book given too as it was printed inside the box, so poke the hole open each day, a hole a day for 24 days to finish up the content inside it. The brick check list was at the side of the box where the minifigs scale is printed.

The content:
It was separated, each space place a different content. There was nine minifigs within this 24 contents. Some of the content are so simple until there's not much step, e.g. like the bucket and carrot treasure box and treasure, etc.

The new minifigs:
The main purpose of getting this advent calendar, these 3 minifigs. The torso for the witch and the female peasant are nicely printed but not the clown and dwarve, the printing is a little faded (yes, low quality).

So think twice before you purchase this set. Compare to CITY advent calendar, CITY advent calendar is more worth your money, as it got 10 minifigs and 196 pieces also there is a cat.

Set details:
- 9 minifigs
-176 pieces

Power Miners

Here's the name for the upcoming LEGO Power Miners theme.

8956 Stone Chopper

8957 Mine Mech

8958 Granite Grinder

8959 Claw Digger

8960 Thunder Driller

8961 Crystal Sweeper

I'm not sure which is which, but I think you guys suppose to be able to figure it out by yourself.

The sets for this theme is mainly made of big chunk of pieces and a few Bionicle parts. Although the lime green pieces is rare, but it still looks ugly. Anyway, I still will buy a few sets for the golem.

For pictures, please refer the previous post.

Spongebob in 2009 list

For Spongebob lover, there will be 2 sets coming next year. The sets are about the same as the first release of Spongbob set, which is Bikini Bottom and Krusty Krab and yes, there are back again with a little changes next year.

#3833 Krusty Krab Adventures

#3834 Good Neighbours at Bikini Bottom

Judging from the pictures above, I still prefer the first release but too bad, I missed both of them and hopefully the price for both of this set will be reasonable when it is release. Besides, the Krusty Krab looks empty to me, behind it was like nothing at all, still the first version was the best. Since this were premlim pictures, I guess LEGO will make a little changes or nothing at all to both of this set.

For Spongebob lover need not worry as the set might comes to Malaysia (no guaranteed though) as Singapore already have 3 sets released.

For the female minifig, I guess it right in the previous post, it was from Indiana Jones theme. Anyway please refer back to the previous post for a cleare picture of this female minifig. Now we are waiting to see the more pictures on the other four minifigs. I sense some fresh new face though.

Here's another new minifigs

Above is a new troll minifigs, perhaps a troll witch or queen? I like the new lightning color scheme, green one looks cool. Hopefully we can have more detailed pictures on the brickcon being uploaded soon.

Well here, we got a new hairpiece and I'm not sure which theme they are from, maybe the on the left is the new Indiana Jones minifigs from Shanghai Chase?

Pictures of 2009 Pirates theme

There are finally a clearer pictures for this theme. So here are the pictures that will enable you guys to decide and your opinion about the set.

#6239 Cannon Battle
(New fire piece I saw, look at the torch)

#6240 Kraken Attackin'

#6241 Loot Island

#6242 Soldiers' Fort

#6243 Brickbeard's Bounty
(Beware of the shark! Just because it can't harm you doesn't means it can't hurt your minifigs)
This kind of shark is bigger and you can put you minifigs inside.

Here's the two Pirates Impulse set. It seems like the Imperial Soldier impulse looks better compare to the Pirate impulse. I suppose army builder will be very happy to see both of this sets in stores.

#8396 Soldier's Arsenal

#8397 Pirate Survival

While below is the picture of the shipwreck. The shipwreck includes you a female pirates minifig that I shown in previous blog. So it has a new minifig that is not release before and judging from the picture it includes us 6 minifigs including the skeleton.

#6253 Shipwreck Hideout

All of the sets looks good to me, but too bad my wallet has it's limit already. T T

For those who wanted to know the price refer back to the previous post and estimate the price by yourself as they were in Euro.
