Well, good bye Bionicle, and welcome Hero Factory. Yup, this is the theme that will replace Bionicle and I heard it looks a little like Bionicle as the designer of Bionicle is the designer for this theme too. Well that's all for now.

LEGO 2010 Theme

Next year there will be a few new theme and also a few theme will end for awhile and forever. As for next year, there will be:

- Kingdom, a theme replacing Castle,

- World Racers, some racing theme with minifigs,

-also an unknown theme, which I'm not sure of the theme that will replace Bionicle,

and other theme that we already know like Ben10, Prince of Persia, Toy Story, Atlantis.

LEGO Prince of Persia #7573

The popular game Prince of Persia will have the movie release next year and there are even LEGO too. Below are the picture of the box art, I think this is the biggest Prince of Persia set.

It include seven minifigs and a camel and the set looks good too.

Reasonably Clever Chris's Flickr gallery have a lot of pictures of the upcoming new sets and here's the picture of LEGO Atlantis #8057 Wreck Raider:

This set looks cool, and a squid blue key is included (but why shark have it?). There might be a little more stickers needed to add the detail, but still it is cool.

Both the impulse certainly looks good, but #8073 Manta Warrior seems to be a little more pricey, maybe because of the unique headgear LEGO made. However, it is the cheapest set to get a Manta.
Anyway, Atlantis theme seems to be pretty interesting and appealing.

LEGO Ben10 #8411 ChromaStone Picture

I gotta say, Ben10 set looks awful. I was expecting playset but not some monster figure. But we won't know about the future of this theme since kids love Ben10 and they might ask their parents to get for them. Anyway, I think this theme is targeting kids.

LEGO Star Wars #8085 Freeco Speeder Picture

Looks like next year will be another good year for LEGO Star Wars, but hopefully it is not too pricey during that time. Below are image of #8085 Freeco Speeder taken from Reasonably Clever Chris's Flickr:

First, we get the Talz Chief, and second, Anakin have both side of the head printed and I suppose the minifig, especially the Talz will fetch a good price. The Freeco speeder looks solid and heavy too.

LEGO Star Wars #8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack Picture

For the early release, Toys'R'Us do increase on the price a little, which is USD12.99. However, you might want to get a set to stop your crave for the 2010 battle pack and again here's a picture of a completed model of #8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack taken from Reasonably Clever Chris's Flickr:

At least there is a few things I like from this battle pack, except for the platform. A nice speederbike is included, and a new AT-AT pilot and Officer too.

LEGO Star Wars #8091 Republic Swamp Speeder Images

I gotta say, this set looks cool we are able to get Barriss Offee. In addition, there is a new Clone Trooper torso in it. Below are clearer image, together with a small box art:

We get a new Jedi next year!!! What a nice set I must say, and it is limited edition again.

LEGO Star Wars #8092 Luke's Landspeeder

Finally here's come the pictures of #8092 Luke's Landspeeder. Well, at least there is no prelim marks on this one.

This set contains 163 pieces, that's what make it an expensive set although it might mostly made up of small part. IT is says to include 6 minifigs, although I'm not so agree with the little droid over there. But a cheap set to get Obi Wan and C-3PO together with the new Sand Trooper, the pauldron especially.

LEGO Star Wars #8091 Republic Swamp Speeder

We do see a lot of pictures of upcoming LEGO Star Wars set, however we are not expecting #8091 Republic Swamp Speeder.

This might be a good chance to own a swamp speeder if you do own Wookie Catamaran before. It might seems fake especially the background and Jedi but we are expecting Barris. As you can see, there will be two Battle Droid and a Super Battle Droid included . Also it seems to be an exclusive set. Pictures can be seen from 2010 catalog.

LEGO Toy Story, which is plan to release on 2010 set for early release and of course they are release in the United States, but still there is no news on where to get them.

Anyway, some lucky guy already have them, which is #7595 Army Men On Patrol and #7590 Woody and Buzz to the Rescue. Below are the images:

Bionicle Stars

Bionicle Stars, which is the last of Bionicle line is released too in LEGO Shop@Home in America and Canada. Surprisingly they are in small size like Matoran or Agori, and not something like Toa or Glatorian, which is a little bigger with more pieces.

They are each sold at USD 7.99 or CAD10.99. IF you would like to build the so call Golden Bionicle, You have to purchase all of them to get some golden parts.

Upclose with LEGO Clone Pilot

We already know that we will be getting a new ARC-170 Starfighter Clone Pilot, especially the headgear which is alike with Star Wars Episode III pilot helmet (yea, the only different here is the helmet and torso) from #8088 ARC-170 Starfigher. Guess they are not from Clone Wars buy Prequel Trilogy who have dotted eyes.

LEGO CITY Impulse 2010, #7566 and #7567

Next year we will have two CITY Impulse which is #7566 the farm impulse that comes with a dog and a pig (yes, cheap pig for everyone, have to get a few of this)

And #7567 some guy with a lot of bag and a camera, but he is wearing the delivery guy outfit (anyway, this picture are prelim and the torso might change in future), no idea who he is, a delivery guy or a traveler.

Well I guess you guys might want to see more pictures regarding LEGO Star Wars 2010 sets. However, there is still no sign of new pictures of Luke Landspeeder which include a handsome amount of minifigs. Below are the images found in Eurobricks:

#8083 Rebel Trooper Army Pack

It seems like all those rebel got new headgear, instead of only one with new headgear according to Amazon. The minifigs is amazing!

#8084 Snow Trooper Army Pack

It seems like there is a new headgear and new torso from this set. Those who like Imperial Army sure will need to stock up a lot of these.

#8085 Freeco Speeder

The speeder turn out great and of course the new Talz minifig (if I recall the name rightly). But again, it comes with Anakin, the kids hero maybe?

#8086 Droid Tri-Fighter

I looks better compare to the previous version, and it gives more minifig than the previous version too and is a good chance to own one of this if missed out the previous version.

#8087 TIE Defender

This is from Expanded Universe, and there has been a few set from expanded universe like TIE Crawler, and Rogue Shadow, will be a need to purchase to complete your expanded universe series.

#8088 ARC-170 Starfigher

This sets still looks good although is a second version. Well, it includes Kit Fisto which I don't know why and new Clone Pilot helmet which is face revealing.

LEGO Collectable Minifigs Image

I have posted about this one in the previous post, but without pictures and here is the picture of the minifigs:

We got Zombie minifig too, what a surprise. I can see a lot of cool new stuff there like the robot headgear, clown hair, pom pom. Pretty cool eh?

According to Brickset, it will be release on June 2010 and will last only about two months before they are out and another new figs are coming.

#10210 Imperial Flagship Review

A Eurobricks member, Svelte who is a lucky guy as he manage to get this #10210 Imperial Flagship early and the good news is that, he have put up a review in Eurobricks. Anyway it is a cool ship everyone would like to own.

Since we are all curious about the set, it is best that there is a review for us to refer to before we make any purchase, but still this ship is bigger than the one Brickbeard own.

The End of Bionicle

The rumor seems to be pretty true that Bionicle will end next year and of course it is a sad news for the Bionicle fans that have been supporting Bionicle all along. With the release of six Bionicle next year, which is Bionicle Stars, it will be the last release for the Bionicle line.

This however, do not end everything, the Bionicle story will still continues. Below are article extracted from BZP:

LEGO Collectable Minifigure

I heard that there will be something different coming in 2010, which is the Collectable Minifigure and here's some details about it:

- each (one) minifig are randomly pack

- contains 16 kind of minifigs

- each box are of the same design and we do not know which minifig we are getting as we can't see inside.

This one is different from Vintage Minifigure Collection as the come one by one instead of five per set and we don't know which minifig we will be getting. Guess this is another LEGO new marketing strategy to make us buy more of it's product.

There are no images available yet however, and also the price is unknown, hope TLC give a reasonable price to it.

It will release here, Malaysia in May 2010.

LEGO Power Miners 2010 Box Art

We have seen the box art of the mech and the fire blaster. Now let us see the bigger set, which is the base and some sort of truck. Below are the (blurry) image of the box art:

There will be two magma monster from the base, one big and one small. Hopefully the base won't cost us much as it seems to be build from a few pieces.

As for the commander droid, there are just an extra printing on the head and the torso. But since I miss the old version Droid Tri-Fighter, I might be getting one.

Everything seems good to me except #8087 TIE Defender, maybe because of the small cockpic in the middle of those big wings. Also I'm not sure whether the Imperial Pilot using new helmet or not.

As for #8088 ARC-170 Starfigher, we get new Clone Pilot helmet, and I suppose one of them are Captain Jag. If you miss the previous release, it is time to get one now. But why Kit Fisto???

Looks like the biggest set for now is #8075 Neptune Carrier, I also learn that this carrier are able to deploy a seabed rover and scout minisub and I guess this is the best vehicle in the team for now.

Guess I have a chance of owning all the sea monster now since Gateway of the Squid turn out to be cheap.
